Lincoln Cabrera

Lincoln Cabrera brings a wealth of experience and a passion for youth development to Run Baby Run as the head coach of our soccer team. With a background in teaching and athletics, Lincoln is dedicated to creating a positive and engaging learning environment where young athletes can thrive.

Athletic Background

Lincoln's journey in coaching began with a strong belief in the potential of young people to learn and grow. From ceramics to theater, and finally to athletics, he has honed his skills in fostering creativity, teamwork, and discipline in his students. With a focus on fun and growth, Lincoln ensures that every training session is not only challenging but also enjoyable for every player.​

Coaching Experience

As a licensed United States Soccer Federation C Coach (with a B License candidacy in Fall 2024), Lincoln brings a depth of knowledge and expertise to his role. His experience includes serving as a Staff Coach at One World Soccer in Pflugerville, where he developed training sessions aimed at strengthening team dynamics and individual player skills.​

Lincoln's commitment to soccer extends beyond coaching, as he is also the Owner and Trainer at 512 Next Level Soccer, providing top-quality technical training to players across the greater Austin area. His dedication to player development is further evidenced by his tenure as the Head of Program at Valor Charter School, where he established a thriving soccer program from scratch.

 

Prior to joining Run Baby Run, Lincoln served as a Staff Coach at FC Westlake and as the Director of Coaching at Avila Creative Soccer. In these roles, he crafted training sessions tailored to enhance team cohesion and player development, instilling a culture of excellence and sportsmanship within each team.

 

Lincoln's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree from Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY, where he built a foundation in teaching and leadership.

 

With his vast experience, coaching credentials, and unwavering dedication to youth development, Coach Lincoln Avila is committed to leading our soccer team to success both on and off the field. We are thrilled to have him as part of the Run Baby Run family!
