It is with great enthusiasm that I join the Run Baby Run team as a coach and recruiter! I am thrilled to be part of such an impactful organization, and I look forward to contributing my experience, passion, and energy to help our athletes thrive both on and off the field.

Over the last 16 years, my career in criminal justice has allowed me to specialize in community engagement, program development, and youth mentorship. These experiences have shaped my passion for working with young people and building programs that foster growth, teamwork, and confidence.

 

I earned my Master’s in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Social Work from Texas State University-San Marcos and am a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, where I embrace the principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift.

 

Youth sports have always held a special place in my life. I’ve had the honor of:

• Serving as a lead for the North Hays Optimist (NHO) football organization, where I worked to empower young athletes through football.

• Creating and managing youth sports programs across Central Texas, such as YDL, promoting personal development and leadership.

• Coaching in the local AAU basketball circuit, helping athletes make meaningful life choices on and off the court.

• Becoming a certified personal trainer (NASM) to better support young athletes in achieving their physical goals.

 

Above all, I am a dedicated husband and father of two amazing children, who inspire my passion for community service and helping youth succeed.
