Growth, Hard Work, and Remarkable Achievements
As the Fall 2025 season officially comes to a close, Run Baby Run celebrates one of its most successful and inspiring seasons yet. From the first warmup in early September to the final race in late October, our athletes continued to show heart, determination, and incredible improvement in every practice and competition.
While every athlete contributed to an unforgettable season, one young runner stood out for his extraordinary progress and perseverance: Zayden Antoine.
A Season Defined by Growth: Zayden’s Incredible Journey
Within weeks after turning 11 years old, Zayden delivered one of the most impressive performance streaks our program has ever seen. Beginning the season running 5Ks at approximately 30 minutes, he committed himself to improving week by week, shaving down his time at every single event.
His hard work, discipline, and passion culminated on October 22, 2025, at the Gobbler 5K at Bohls Park in Pflugerville. There, Zayden ran a stunning 24 minutes and 15 seconds, setting a new personal record and finishing 1st place overall among all 5K racers—an incredible achievement for any athlete, let alone one so young.
Though often competing independently this season, Zayden never trained alone in spirit. His determination fueled the entire team, and his progress became a source of inspiration for runners of all ages within Run Baby Run.
Coach Kyser on Zayden’s Growth
Coach Kyser shared heartfelt praise for Zayden’s character and potential:
“He has only scratched the surface of his talents. Zayden is a joy to coach and a positive influence on the entire team as well as an excellent student in the classroom. He takes the classroom even more serious than he does his sports. He is well-rounded and embraces his role as a leader. I am excited to watch his continued growth.”
Zayden’s excellence both on the track and in the classroom exemplifies what Run Baby Run strives to instill in all athletes—discipline, confidence, leadership, and a passion for learning.
Looking Ahead With Optimism
As we wrap up Fall 2025, the entire Run Baby Run family is filled with pride and excitement for the future. This season reflected not only competitive achievements but also the personal growth, friendships, and resilience our athletes continue to develop.
With young leaders like Zayden setting the pace, the future of Run Baby Run has never looked brighter. We look forward to building on this momentum as we continue training, growing, and preparing for an even more successful season ahead.
Here’s to every athlete, every parent, and every coach who made this season unforgettable—Run Baby Run continues to move forward, stronger and faster than ever.
